Kathmandu : A total of 448 new cases of COVID-19 has been recorded in the last 24 hours - the highest rate of infection in a day so far in the country.
In a regular press briefing at the Ministry of Health and Population on Friday, Spokesperson Dr Jageshwar Gautam informed that among the total infected, 424 are males and 24 females. Reports to this were collected from various laboratories across the country.
With these new cases, the number of infected has reached 5,063 in Nepal. Similarly, 877 persons have been discharged from the hospitals after complete recovery in the country. In the last 24 hours, 16 persons were discharged from various health facilities after recovery.
Likewise, as many as 121,862 people are tested for COVID-19 via PCR method while 188,052 via RDT method till today. A total of 5,925 are tested via PCR methodwhile 9,909 via RDT in the past 24 hours.
